January

Can't believe that we are in 2010!! Sebastian was asleep but woke up just minutes before midnight! We rang in the new year in San Antonio with family at Elisa's house.

On January 1st we drove to Eagle Pass to visit Grandpa Ramiro. On January 2nd Sebastian took his first trip to Piedras Negras, Mexico! Check out this link for pictures: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=137100&id=520838534&l=e0802c2810

Sebastian did many new things in January too! He started standing up by himself. I first noticed it in Eagle Pass on New Year's Day and then he was nonstop when we got to Chicago. He started walking around the coffee table and then crawling faster than he did before we left.

This was the first time I noticed him stand up by himself.

On January 7th we got some good snow so I took his first pictures in the snow. I tried to do a snow angel but he wasn't having it. Here is my little Michelin Man! :-)



On January 16th we started going to Music Together, Sebasian's first music class. He gets to dance/play with Mommy and interact with other kids. He loves it--dances and sings the whole time! We go every Saturday morning with Beatriz and Omar. The class really tires him out and surely takes a nap right afterwards!



In January Sebastian also started going to a new sitter, Mary. Mary is Richard's cousin and he really enjoys going to Mary every weekday. Mommy is happy that Sebastian is over his clingy, separation anxiety phase!
